This new musical is based on the cult film of the same name which was rated R (for language, drug content and brief violence), which itself was an adaptation of Shakespeare's THE TRAGEDIE OF MACBETH which dramatized the damaging physical and psychological effects of ambition on those who seek power.

Strong adult language (including the f-word)
Depictions of violence and murder, including death by suicide
Depictions of drug use, drug influence

FUN HOME is a musical adaptation of the seminal LGBTQ+ graphic memoir by Alison Bechdel chronicling her life growing up in the family-owned funeral home. The story concerns Bechdel's discovery of her own lesbian sexuality, her relationship with her closeted gay father, and her attempts to unlock the mysteries surrounding his life and death.
FUN HOME includes:
Some strong language and adult themes, including verbal abuse and depictions of homophobia
